First difference, if (Ns_ModuleLoad(driver, path, module, "Ns_DbDriverInit")
driver is in place of server and load fails because of unknown server.
when i changed driver to NULL, it started segfaulting, so something
changed internally. Old Ns_ModuleLoad ignored server argument.

Can you be more specific? What is different? The Ns_ModuleLoad did not
change
from the API, only internals is different (uses Tcl_FSLoadFile)...
