Dear Wolfgang, we do not see any growth in this area, below are statistics from two different sites.
monthly graph These files are from Ns_GetTemp() which maintains a pool of tmp files, which are released via Ns_ReleaseTemp(). This pool is maintained like this since many years. One of the consumers of Ns_GetTemp() is nscgi. Are you using this module on the site experiences the growing number? -g
