I was facing problem of Spam (unwanted) e-mails since a long. So, decided to
find out the way. I got many reasons. But I found four
reasons are most common. Let me share my findings with you.
1. Advanced E-mail hiding techniques on your website
Do you know? Some companies are making Softwares to catch your e-mail address
from your website. I am suggesting to use hidden e-mail techniques to prevent
it.
2. Never mention your e-mail address on websites and forums
Many times we are giving our official e-mail address on other website or
forums. That can be catched by spammer(Bulk e-mail Sender). If it is necessary
then make another e-mail id and give that only.
3. Spam Filter in E-Mail Services
Spam filter is the software / plugin which is preventing spam mails to be mixed
up with genuine emails. I am strongly suggesting you to use it.
4. Never click on the `unsubscribe' link in spam mails
You would think that by unsubscribing, you will be removed from their mailing
lists, but this is just a ploy to verify that your e-mail address exists and is
in use. Unsubscribe, and you will receive more spam.
