I've posted a few times here and been on the IRC. Sorry about this
I'm having great difficulty in getting navit built with DBus included in
the build on a laptop.
I do have Navit running on an OpenMoko and I can set the destination
using the DBus method but there is no Signal raised from Navit when a
bookmark is added to the application. Perhaps this has not been added to
the code, even though it is mentioned in the Wiki as the only DBus
signal raised by Navit.
I can set the Destination on the OpenMoko but no mater how I build the
navit application from svn source on my laptop I can't get it to enable
the DBus bindings. Can somebody please suggest a solution to this
problem. When I try to use the DBus interface I get an error:
Error org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name
org.navit_project.navit was not provided by any .service files
So two questions I'm be grateful for answers to. Is the BookMark
addition signal mentioned in the Wiki enabled in code
and how do I compile in DBus so that I can use the DBus interface on a
laptop?
