Hi everybody,
seems like on android market [1] there are two versions of Navit[2] and
ZANavi[3] available. I know Navit for a long time, so I know what I want
to install. However new coming user gets two similarly named
applications, with similar logos and is probably confused which should
he,she install.
I assume www.zoff.cc just took sources of Navit and are trying to get
donations based on hard work of developers of Navit. Based on licence,
they are entitled to do so. I assume logo is also copyleft? But is it
fair to use Navit's logo, and sources just to earn money? Or is Zoff
contributing back to the community?
