What does God want us to
seek?
SEEK GOD'S FACE
Hear, O LORD, when
I cry with my voice:
have mercy also upon
me, and answer me.
When thou saidst,
Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee,
Thy face, LORD, will
I seek.
Hide not thy face far from me;
put not thy servant away in anger:
thou hast been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me,
O God of my salvation.

SEEK GOD'S
WISDOM
Seek ye out of the
book of the LORD, and read:
Isa
34:16a
He taught me also, and said unto
me,
Let thine heart retain my words:
keep my commandments, and live.
{5} Get wisdom, get
understanding:
forget it not; neither
decline from the words of my mouth.
{6} Forsake her not, and
she shall preserve thee:
love her, and she shall keep
thee.
{7} Wisdom is the
principal thing;
therefore get wisdom: and
with all thy getting get understanding.
{8} Exalt her, and she
shall promote thee:
she shall bring thee to honour,
when thou dost embrace her.
{9} She shall give to
thine head an ornament of grace:
a crown of glory shall she
deliver to thee.

SEEK GOD THE
CREATOR
For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens;
God himself that formed the earth
and made it;
he hath established it, he created
it not in vain,
he formed it to be inhabited:
I am the LORD; and there
is none else.
I have not spoken in secret, in a
dark place of the earth:
I said not unto the seed of Jacob,
Seek ye me in vain:
I the LORD speak
righteousness,
I declare things that are
right.

SEEK FOR GOD WHILE HE GIVES THE
OPPORTUNITY
Seek ye the LORD while he may be found,
call ye upon him while he is
near:
Let the wicked forsake his way,
and the unrighteous man his thoughts:
and let him return unto the LORD,
and he will have mercy upon him;
and to our God, for he will abundantly
pardon.
For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways, saith the
LORD.
For as the heavens are higher than the
earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways,
and my thoughts than your
thoughts.

SEEK GOD HIMSELF
For thus saith the LORD unto the
house of Israel,
Seek ye Me,
and ye shall
live:

that ye may possess this
good land,
and leave it for an

and understandeth all the

if thou seek him, he will be found

SEEK ETERNAL LIFE
Fight the good fight of
faith,
lay hold on eternal life,
whereunto thou art also called,

clothed?

SEEK A
RIGHTEOUS CHARACTER
Before the decree bring forth,
before the day pass as the chaff,
before the fierce anger of the
LORD come upon you,
before the day of the LORD'S anger
come upon you.
Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of
the earth,
which have obeyed his
judgment;
seek righteousness, seek
meekness:
it may be ye shall be hid{H=be
absent} in the day of the LORD'S anger.
Zep 2:2-3
He that followeth after
righteousness and mercy
findeth life, righteousness,
and honour.

But seek ye first the kingdom of
