There is Joy...

there is joy in the presence of

and to save that which was lost.
Dear Friends in Christ,
I get lots of responses to these devotionals and lots of
questions and letters, but I have never gotten such a thrilling testimony as the
one given below. What a joy and encouragement it is to me, and I just
wanted to share it with you so perhaps it will give you some encouragement as
well. Note: His/ her real name is withheld for obvious reasons.

Take heed that ye
despise not one of these little ones;

That in heaven
their angels do always behold the
face of my Father which is in heaven.

Son of man is come to save that which was lost.

if a man have an hundred sheep,
and one of them be gone
astray,
doth he not leave the
ninety and nine,
and goeth into the
mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray?

that he find it, verily I say unto you,
he rejoiceth more of that
sheep,

ninety and nine which went not astray.

Rejoice with me; for

that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth,
more than over ninety and
nine just persons, which need no repentance.
{8} Either what woman
having ten pieces of silver,
if she lose one piece,
doth not light a candle,
and sweep the house, and
seek diligently till she find it?
{9} And when she hath
found it, she calleth her friends and her neighbours together,
saying,
Rejoice with me; for
I have found the piece which I had lost.
{10} Likewise, I say unto
you,
there is joy in the
