Hi all,

Since sourceforge doesn't offer any decentralized version control
systems, and since I didn't want to have to deal with not being able to
access the central repository while hacking on the train or some such
anymore, I had announced previously that I was investigating the
possibility of moving nbd to a git repository.

Since I didn't know of a suitable hosting service for git at the time,
that didn't happen back then. Recently, however, I've become aware of
github.com, and that does seem to be an interesting service; for open
source projects, they have a free (though with non-optional
advertisement) offering.

I've just converted the NBD repository to git, and pushed that with the
relevant branches and tags to github.com. You can find it at
<git://github.com/yoe/nbd.git>; for downloads, go to
<http://github.com/yoe/nbd>, browse to the version that you want (i.e.,
using a tag or some such), and click on 'download'.

Regards,
