Hi,

I noticed something odd. It is definately reproducable, in fact: it
happens EACH attempt.
Tested with kernel 2.6.36.

What happens:
- 1 system running both nbd client and server
- nbd connection is set up, not mounted or so, only the connection
  between the server and client
- then th server proces is shot down
- after that nbd-client -d /dev/nbd0 is invoked

Then, again if nbd-client + server is running and iozone3 is tested, the
performance drops around 30% or more! It then stays that way until
rebooted.
