At a rally in UP on Monday, Shri Narendra Modi claims that he will remove
criminals from politics. He may preach, but what does he practice?
Meet Brij Bhushan Saran Singh, the BJP's candidate from Kaiserganj, in Uttar
Pradesh.
According to Central Bureau of Investigation records, he harboured underworld
kingpin Dawood Ibrahim's gunmen in 1992.
They shot and killed three people at the JJ Hospital in Mumbai.
He is accused of inciting the mob that led to a riot. There are over 40
criminal cases against him.
He was elected on a Samajwadi Party ticket in 2009 but was brought into the BJP
by Shri Amit Shah to ensure that Shri Modi could win one extra seat.
Is this the kind of person Shri Modi wants to place in our Parliament?
