This move has now happened. The new list is at n...@other.debian.org (Cc added) for subscribing, or viewing the archive (which has been imported in its entirety from the sourceforge mbox export, *after* I manually pruned it of all the spam -- sigh), please go to https://lists.debian.org/nbd/ PLEASE NOTE: for vague legal reasons that they don't go into, Sourceforge does not allow administrators to see the list of subscribers. As such, if you want to be on the new list, you must go to the above URL and subscribe. Otherwise, you won't see mails that go to the new address. I'll leave the old list functional for a few weeks more in case people don't immediately notice, but please start using the new one from now on :-) The debian.org mailinglist server's spam filter isn't 100% perfect, but it's *much* better than the sourceforge one, so this should be a massive improvement. > No opposition to the move here, but DO make sure it is well-publicized > (you may want to make an NBD release near the same time, if only to > include the updated list address in any released documentation). I've done that. > Hmm, just noticing that 'nbd-client--version' gives bad output, and > 'nbd-client --help' doesn't mention anything about where to find online > resources/bug-reporting address (compare that to 'ls --help | tail' for > a program that gives a bit more useful output). Yeah, that's not a bad point. Fixed that, too. All that means that 3.16.2 is out -- with more than just the mailinglist address update: - Make the test suite less chatty - Various build system improvements - Fixes to the systemd unit to make it work again with recent systemd - Point to the nbd mailinglist, rather than to the maintainer's personal email address, for bug reports. Get it at the usual place (no, I have no plans of immediately changing that).
