Hi everyone,

@Hank and @Michiel: After some additional scrutiny, the two organisations
you shared seem to be shared computing clusters by the research community,
a common and welcomed occurrence. We would love to partner with them, and
they could bring their infrastructure to the cloud we envision.
Fundamentally, our vision of a European cloud is that any provider, such as
these two, can join a larger ecosystem and support the hosting of a large
variety of applications beyond just research. It’s likely, however, that
these clusters are designed for research workloads only – it’s hard to say
since we're not familiar with them – which would then, admittedly, make it
more difficult. But from our side, anyone can join and participate – it’s
about creating a unified and sustainable European cloud platform that is
built on the back of what already exists.

Best,
-Michael
