Brian, There is a specific SBC requirement (which is an addition to GR-63) in their document TP76200MP from December 30, 1998 - titled:"NETWORK EQUIPMENT POWER, GROUNDING, ENVIRONMENTAL, AND PHYSICAL DESIGN EQUIREMENTS". The requirement is: "11.03 Fan cooled equipment shall be equipped with filters. Exception: Fans used to cool the outside of sealed equipment cabinets need not be fitted with particulate filters." What standard and clause(s) specify this requirement ? Brian McAuliffe Tellabs
