We can still put these kind of explanation on the home page (in fact, any explanation that is common to all widgets : they use SWT-like API, are cross-platform, can be extended...). It's just that I thought that we don't have much room to add text for each widget.
If we start to use the wiki, there should also be a link to it on this page. -- Nicolas On 7/25/07, Peter Centgraf <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:
On second thought, I think you're right, Nicolas. Personally, I would look for an explanation of the advantages and disadvantages of the Nebula widgets as compared with the standard SWT ones, but that will be difficult in limited space. Perhaps it would be better to keep this on the full page for each component. I say +1 on putting up the new page right away, as-is, and we can tweak it later. P.S. How is the progress bringing in Emil's great stuff? Are we far along yet that we should include his widgets on the page? -- Peter ________________________________________ From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto: [EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Nicolas Richeton Sent: Wednesday, July 25, 2007 8:21 AM To: Nebula Dev Subject: Re: [nebula-dev] RE: Nebula Website Hi Peter, I believe that in most cases, a screenshot of the widget is better than a textual description. Detailed features and API would then be available on each widget's page. But we can keep the current description if everybody wants it. We just have to find out a nice way to display the text part. For accessibility reasons, text descriptions will also be embed in the ALT attribute of images.
