I'd be happy to contribute to Nebula -- although I'm not (yet?) familiar with SWT internals, I guess it would be still better than nothing (noone). As you may have guessed from my emails to the list, I'm currently developing (together with Hannes Gruber) an RCP-based application for a client. We are relying on CDateTime (and also moving to Grid from TreeViewer) and are quite content with the components, but we're sure interested in that any glitches someone runs into will be fixed. To keep you guys busy ;-) I've added another enhancement patch to Grid to bugzilla (https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=333508 , support different truncation styles).
