I also used it quite a while and I was satisfied except the issues you
mentioned. I've found out about DateTime a few weeks ago and compared it to
CalendarCombo. And IMHO there is no need for another implementation.
Especially if there is a default implementation and the custom one has some
issues.

So don't missunderstand me, I don't want to blame anybody or bash
something, I just wanted to tell that it might be a good time to clean up.
