Dear Sailors-

The 2008 George Warren Smith Trophy will be, perhaps, the largest collegiate
event in North America this year with 28 teams currently signed up. MIT is
proud to host you and we encourage people to be aware that Storrow Drive
westbound from the big dig to Mass Ave will have a right lane restriction
for the juvenile diabetes walk. You might consider getting off at a prior
exit and making your way over Beacon Hill or through Somerville and East
Cambridge if coming from the north. Parking is available on Memorial Drive
westbound or in any of the MIT parking lots. The signage can be ignored
after 3 on weekdays or on any weekend.

Our grille will be available for all competitors to use and teams are
encouraged to bring a bailing bucket as well as a large sponge to bail out
their bow and stern floatation tanks. We are experimenting with a new web
based scoring program for college sailing and need ALL contestants to be
registered on the icsa database before arriving on Saturday morning. This
should have already been done during the Fall but, please take care of this
important responsibility before arriving to the event.

Thanks in advance for checking your teams' competitor eligibility status
prior to Saturday. The program can only use personnel who are registered.
