Team Race B Level Roger Williams University April 11, 2010 SUNDAY: First off, huge thanks go out to the three RWU Alumni who came back to help with Race Committee duties today: Jen Warren '00, Matthew Cohen '03 and Stu Gilfillen '04! The day started off overcast with moderate winds from the South and a strong outgoing tide. As the day went on, the clouds cleared and the breeze shifted to the west. After noon, the tide switched around, temps were in the mid 60's, and the water was flat. Overall a great day for team racing on the Mt. Hope Bay. 4 round robins were sailed on a collegiate N course. Several protests were filed and 4 were ultimately heard using a modified 3 minute justice open to all, resulting in 3 DSQs.
Many thanks to the RWU undergrads who helped as well: Conor Crowe, Josh Saltmarsh, Megan Place RWU 10-2 Tufts 7-5 Yale 6-6 Dartmouth 1-11 RP Information RWU Ryan McHorney '10 1-8 Cameron Pimental '13 1-2, 4-8, 10-12 George Saunders '12 1-3, 6-12 Zach Shapiro '12 3-5, 9-12 Tyler Wilson '12 all Emerald Epke '11 all Dan Goldman '13 all Dartmouth John Renehan '13 all Taylor McDonald '12 all Sarah Hylton '13 all Molly Wilson '13 all Sabrina Amaro '13 all Christina Clark '10 all Tufts Albert Nichols '13 all John Work '12 all Henry Blanchette '13 all Charlotte Wellbourne '13 all Emily Shaw '12 all Jary Hanselman '12 all Yale Andrew Kurzrok '11 all Becca Jackson '10 all John Vrolyk '10 all Isabel Elliman '12 all Grace Zimnenly '13 all Jared Shenson '12 all RR1 RWU Dart Tufts Yale Record RWU XXXX W W W 3-0 Dart L XXXX L L 0-3 Tufts L W XXXX L 1-2 Yale L W W XXXX 2-1 RR2 RWU Dart Tufts Yale Record RWU XXXX W L W 2-1 Dart L XXXX L L 0-3 Tufts W W XXXX W 3-0 Yale L W L XXXX 1-2 RR3 RWU Dart Tufts Yale Record RWU XXXX W L W 2-1 Dart L XXXX L L 0-3 Tufts W W XXXX W 3-0 Yale L W L XXXX 1-2 RR4 RWU Dart Tufts Yale Record RWU XXXX W W W 3-0 Dart L XXXX W L 1-2 Tufts L L XXXX L 0-3 Yale L W W XXXX 2-1 Amanda Callahan Head Sailing Coach | Waterfront Coordinator Roger Williams University *:: O 401.254.5325 | F 401.254.3535 | C 857.205.8759 *:: One Old Ferry Road, Bristol, RI 02809 ________________________________________________ neisa mailing list [email protected] http://www.collegesailing.org/mailman/?listname=neisa Unsubscribe: Send a blank email to [email protected]
