Hi NEISA: As the drop deadline approaches for our first Out of Conference Interconference Regatta with NEISA teams scheduled (1/31 for Charleston Spring, Bavier, Mendelblatt and USF Women's) I wanted to communicate some updates and reminders.
1) New Documents: I changed the name on our NEISA scheduling sheet to "2014 NEISA Schedule." As always, you can find it linked in my signature, below. Additionally, I have added links to the MAISA and ICSA schedules in my signature, so you can see who is coming to our 2 conference and NEISA Interconference regattas. Like our google doc schedule, there are updated in real time. 2) Our google doc: Alden Reid and I are going to change the look of the document to make billing easier sometime this spring. It should also be a little cleaner and fairly self-explanatory, and should allow us to track late-drops and no-shows week by week. When that happens, I should be able to make all of the changes on our online doc, but let me know if you have any issues. Additionally, please doublecheck the current doc once more to make sure it is accurate, I will be updating recent changes today - let me know if I am missing any for your team. 3) As a reminder, the drop deadline for any in-conference event is the Friday two weeks prior to the weekend of the event. So, for the Invite at BU on Sunday, March 23, the drop deadline is Friday, March 7. Ken has a great review of this, as well as the penalty point system in the scheduling document. For Out of Conference regattas, the first major drop deadline is 1/31, and then the deadline is typically 1 month prior to the event, but drop deadlines are on Danielle's ICSA sheet. As a reminder, for out of conference events, we cannot relieve you of the ICSA penalty, even if another team fills your berth. I think that is all for now, let me know what questions you have. Thanks, and look forward to getting back on the water with NEISA this spring. -Justin ------------------------------------------------ If you don't have time to do it right, when will you have time to do it over? - John Wooden Justin Assad m: 917.846.6852 o: 603.646.3215 em: neisajustin(at)gmail.com 2014 NEISA Schedule<https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Ah3jgdmbLcB8dEMzZE1OOC1iZS1pNFZld2FqLV9qUEE&usp=drive_web#gid=0> 2014 ICSA Schedule<https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Argj_wo1sZZJdEpfME5SLW9EbXVvMDItMC1saGt1elE&usp=drive_web#gid=0> 2014 MAISA Schedule<https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AnMemuVyiEV9dEZoWGRINHhjRUgyUHRQR3gwOWVZbWc&usp=drive_web#gid=0> please consider our environment before printing. *When adding or dropping events, please *do not* reply to the weekly scheduling bulletin, or any other email from me. Instead, start a fresh email to the address below, with subject EVENT/Team - for instance, HOOD/D for an email about Dartmouth at the Hood Trophy. For emails addressing more than one event, please use [Team Name Adds/Drops]; for instance, "OSU Drops," or "LSU Adds." I don't intend to be overly rigid, but this small change will make my inbox organization significantly easier. Thank you!* ________________________________________________ neisa mailing list [email protected] http://www.collegesailing.org/mailman/?listname=neisa Unsubscribe: Send a blank email to [email protected]
