This is problem that I can reproduce on Linux as well, it might
get related to socket buffers. Since the Browser is keeping the
connection alive, the server looks like it's blocking. I'll
investigate and fix this problem.

There was a bit of additional things to do in "select()" on non-
Windows machines.
