Also, I've seen someone already asked about gnu autotools support (in august 2005) and I don't want to resurrect an old troll, but such support would be greatly appreciated on source distros. I'm trying to create an ebuild (i.e. a package specification file) for Neko for the Gentoo Linux distribution, but the current building system is very odd: - it doesn't properly check for dependancies. - it asks the developer to *interactively* enter some missing paths. - it uses a fixed compiler name, fixed CFLAGS and so on...
