support would be greatly appreciated on source distros.

I'm trying to create an ebuild (i.e. a package specification file) for
Neko for the Gentoo Linux distribution, but the current building
system is very odd:
- it doesn't properly check for dependancies.
- it asks the developer to *interactively* enter some missing paths.
- it uses a fixed compiler name, fixed CFLAGS and so on...

I think I will have to write all the files needed by autoconf and
automake in order to be able to submit this (cool) piece of software
to Gentoo :-/
