thank you you hit the jackpot, i did not ...
now i did and all install went well. only the paths given in the
tutorial are different here. like mod-enabled and mod-available , they
have a 's' in them here like: mods-enabled and mods-available. All went
well after all. Only now the apache will not restart. First it gave an
error (missed mod_neko.ndll), then i tested with the mod_neko.nddl,
apache fails silently. then i renamed mod_neko2.ndll to mod_neko.ndll
and still apache2 fails to come up again (silently nothing in error.log)
My guess is i did all the work for nothing cause of apache2.0.* and it
still only works for 1.3.* and 2.2.*
There has been some reports that Apache 2.0.* hangs when runnning
mod_neko2.ndll I'm not sure exactly why this happens...
Nicolas
in both cases hangs apache2.0.* the normal and the 2 version ndll
If we all want haxe to spread around the globe, i surely think it should
not be such a job to get mod_neko running on a widely used apache
version. This was in the past 6 months the third time i spend hours on
this and no results are satisfying. Bit disappointing while on the other
hand haxe is so cool and pulls me to try and try again.
Not to be rude but it seems like two roads are not running together.
on one hand is haxe and the wish to get it shared and spread other the
globe. On the other hand the mod_neko install, which is a hassle and
tech round for a few hours and does not work after the hassle.
You got to be a real tech someone apparently.
enough said to make my point and get rid of disapointing results from
yesterday. If only apache2.0.* would write something to the error.log
