hey list, i'm happy to announce availability of neko-systools beta 0.0.9 with near-complete linux support. notably, what doesnt work is: * clearing of clipboard content that "belongs" to a different application. * Misc.getKeyState() - if someone has a good hint how to do this with GTK, please shoot.
so, what does work? the rest of systools functionality: * Dialogs - alert, confirm, open file(s), save file, open directory * Clipboard - cut and paste text * Registry - by way of gconf (if a standard on configuration systems on linux prevails, i'll happily switch) get it with haxelib install systools the included .ndll is for 32bit x86; if you have another platform, you'll probably get lucky by compiling from source. neko-systools on linux requires GTK+-2.0 and gconf-2.0. please report any nontrivial issues you encounter. enjoy, -dan -- http://0xDF.com/ http://iterative.org/ -- Neko : One VM to run them all (http://nekovm.org)
