seems so. i've removed the .o2 files ("make clean"), now it works. might've
been some old neko.h lying around when i started trying this morning..

thanks, the xcross test works fine after replacing xcross-linux with my
self-rolled one (no more GLIBC_2.4 issue).

I still see quite some problems coming with linux binary dists ;/ - maybe neko
should bundle xcross by default, and there should be some linux-utility with it
to "xboot" so that "binary" refers to compiled neko code only, and the
installer would do that "linking" with "xcross-host" during installation? (i
could have another try at explaining the idea if that wasnt so clear :)
