Alright, I will start writing the haxe classes methods. Are all the
classes that are needed already defined?
It's just the meat on the bone that needs doing?

Hi Marcus,
Sorry, I haven't owned a mac in around 5 years. I use the company
one from time to time, but it's not setup for development, just app
testing. I have a tight deadline atm, but if you can wait 'til
next week, I can have a go for you.

Hi Pete,
Any chance you could supply an already compiled ndll? Are you on
intel or PPC?
Then I could get going with the nMagick haxe files.
Let me know,
Cheers,
M.

I have been able to write a neko extension fairly simply using
obj-c and xcode on the mac.
Really the extension is plain c, but simply giving it .m
extension allowed me to hook into the existing mac frameworks
very easily.
In xcode, if you open a new project with target type dynamic
library. The go to the project info and change the output
extension do ndll. You may also want to add a final copy step
to place the ndll into your neko path.

Sorry, I'm 80% Windows, 19% Linux and only 1% Mac... I can use
one, but developing C apps for Mac OSX is not something I've
done... It took me long enough to find the Shell when last I
used one ;-). My suggestion is to ask the list for someone more
knowledgable to create a Makefile for OSX. I know one exists
for Linux, thanks to Rickard, so an OSX one shouldn't be as
tough as starting from scratch.
Sorry I couldn't help more.

Hi Lee,
My time is a bit limited too, but I think I will be able to
manage this. It's too good of a package to not have it for use.
And I just have to write
it in haxe, so yeah it should be pretty simple. However, I
don't know how
I will be able to test it out, as I am on OSX.
Any suggestions?
M.

Hi Marcus,
nMagick is a very simple wrapper for ImageMagick. As 90% of
the C code is already written, writing the necessary haXe
wrapper classes should be a doddle; I just simply don't have
enough time to do the grunt work. If you download the version
on SVN, you should be able to add the necessary functions
yourself.
If you get the chance to do them all, then that'd be fantastic ;)
If I get any time over the coming weeks, I'll get the grunt
work done.

Lee

List,
Any news on nMagick for Neko? I have done a lot of
development in haxe/neko now, and it feels that it's just
nMagick that is missing really...
Anyway, understand that people are busy, but when we get nMagick
working...it'll be great!

Marcus
