Hi,
I am still learning all this amazing Neko, Haxe, SWHX, xonf stuff and
my head is about to explode. I wonder perhaps if I could get some
definitive answers to the following questions and possible
corrections to my so far accumulated assumptions about things in
general:
1. 'Haxe' as in ECMA based language that compile to Neko VM bytecode.
It has no other connections to Neko than that, apart from the author
of course, and could in fact compile to some other bytecode VM eg
Java or Parrot etc etc
2. Neko source files end in .neko and compile to .n files
3. Haxe source files have the
Questions:
1. What are .nml files, are they NekoML source files.
2. Does 'nekoc' differentiate between .neko and .nml files
3. Where can I learn more about NekoML, I have OCAML installed on my
iMac from way back, version 3.09.3
My end goal is to write a Lisp environment for Neko and I want to
make sure that I take on board *everything* that is going to save me
time by not re-inventing a wheel when there is one there or some
alternative route.
Nicolas, your previous reply was very very useful to me regarding
this matter; I have spent about two hours looking at the Console.nml
source and it is very informative.
Also, I have nearly completed a working VIM syntax file for .neko
source files which I will polish off soon.
Thanks
Sean Charles
