Hello list, I think mysql.ndll should be compiled with '-lssl' linker option - this does not matter for running under Apache as it probably loads the SSL library anyway, but when running DB-interacting scripts from command line it fails complaining about missing SSL symbols. Adding this linker options fixes it.
