Ah-ha! I saw the reply to this one on the other group but not the original--yahoo must be acting up again LOL

Anyway, we have an HP digi-cam and we love it! We got it a couple years ago from brandsnow.com and have been completely happy with it. It takes excellent pictures, even at the lowest quality rating, and has a 30 second movie with sound feature. It has a decent sized LCD screen and instant delete for pics while they're being processed into the memory. It requires 4 AA lithium rechargeable batteries and came with charger, stand, memory card. I was going to say that it's always a good idea to get an extra memory card, since one can sometimes get a bit carried away LOL  The only thing i'd have to say that I don't like about the digital cameras are the few-second delay sometimes between pushing the button and it actually snapping the pic--making for difficult "in the moment" snapshots.

We've had a couple of Lexmark printers, and found that we just weren't overly happy with them. They seemed to be fairly cheap, print quality wasn't always terrific, especially if you weren't completely full on ink, or had had the cartridges refilled instead of actually buying new ones. It's not often that we print up pics, but I find that on the occasion I do, the quality printer really does make a difference. We ended up talking to alot of people when it came time to buy a new printer, and we went with an HP. It's got an automatic upload port in the front so that we can print directly from the camera instead of putting pics in the computer first and then sending to the printer. Quality of print couldn't be better, even with photo paper. And with what we paid for it, it's really worth hanging onto and getting new cartridges, rather that saving like alot of people do and just buying a new printer when they run out of ink (you know it's ridiculous when it's not worth the money to just get new ink hey?)

So that's just a few things to think about.
