I usually lay low around here, but had to comment on brakes.  I installed
single axle Kodiak discs with a Tie-down hydraulic actuator & tubing two
seasons ago.  The whole project cost between $400-500.  Everything works
great (two saltwater dunkings a year, the rest fresh).

The calipers are the the part you will have trouble with in salt water.  All
the kodiak parts are desined to minimize corrosion.

Anyone who has spent any time working on cars knows how much better discs
are than drums - both stopping and maintenance.  BTW, the Kodiak calipers
use pads that are standard stuff on a buick.  Stick with hydraulic for boat
trailers and ditch the drums.

good luck
Brett
