We have an opening for a Weblogic Administrator with an IT company in
- Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE) application deployment and administration including JAR, WAR, and EAR files.
- BEA Weblogic Server installation and patch maintenance, clustering, high availability, load balancing, disaster recovery, and performance tuning, security planning and implementation, database connection pooling (Oracle experience preferred).
- Configuration and maintenance of Web Server plug-ins with BEA Weblogic Server (Apart Web Server preferred).
- Monitor BEA Weblogic Server using tools such as Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) and Java Management Extensions (JMX)
- Provide support for development environments and teams in activities such as load testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Work with team members to provide 24x7 production support and Application Support team to identify and correct issues and bugs.
- Must be able to insist on timely resolution from Weblogic and follow through on the closure of all items.
- Must be well rounded and current in system administration, networking, supporting, developing, programming and end-user support is critical to functioning in this position
