Gotcha.

BTW, did you know that tinning stranded wires is NOT recommended for
wire-clamp-type terminals? The manufacturers specifically warn against it.
They say it will cause the connection to creep and loosen.

I still don't believe it by my "gut feeling", but I would guess they know
what they are talking about.

The latter.  
 
The G204 will have features which I understand will make them (more)  
idiot-proof, but they will COST more.  Understandable.   I think  I
understand that 
the G201 and G210 will still be available for the old  pricing.  If so,
good.  
I read instructions, tin stranded wire-ends,  tighten screw-terminations 
properly, use correct DC supplies, regulated or not,  and find that a much
more 
satisfyingly economical approach than being sloppy and  having to purchase 
replacements every few days.
