Neopren bearings are designed to bear a definite range of loading ; so are
bridge bearings or nuclear plants ones.
Regarding trailers, I was taken aback discovering that they generally ignore
basic rules of steel construction and are yet admitted by certifying
authorities.
I seeked all over Europe and found Harbeck ones near austrian-polish-germany
bounder.
Regarding springs, they should be used only with one axle trailers and
should be provided with dampers.
Have trailed boats over 100 000 may be 200 000 km (never logged) and with
the F28R I do thank the Midsubishi-Range Rover-Jeep truckmonger who recommended
a passenger XM Citroen Car. With the hydraulic electronic controled
suspension, that is ideal, although funny looking and making police to stare at ; V6
engine 190 horse power ; no problems uphill, always at maximumm allowed speed
or at yawing which appears at 110 km/h (but some of you kindly advisd me to
get wider tires, which I shall do).
Also observed the wild sideways deflections of tires at sharp bends.
