TODAY'S eTIP(TM): Intentional Indents

In Excel 2003, you can indent the entries in a cell selection by
clicking the Increase Indent button on the Formatting toolbar.
The Increase Indent button is normally located immediately to the
left of the Borders button, and it sports a picture of an arrow
pushing the lines of text to the right. Each time you click this
button, Excel indents the entries in the current cell selection
to the right by one character width of the standard font.

You can remove an indent by clicking the Increase Indent button
on the Formatting toolbar; its button is normally immediately to
the left of the Increase Indent button. Also, you can change how
many characters an entry is indented with the Increase Indent
button or outdented with the Decrease Indent button. Open the
Format Cells dialog box (choose Format, Cells), and select the
Alignment tab. Alter the value in the Intent text box.
