Explore Cornell: Beetle Science
http://explore.cornell.edu/scene.cfm?scene=Beetle%20Science

"'We live in the age of beetles,' claims the Coleopterists Society, an international group of scientists devoted to the study of this diverse and abundant insect order (Coleoptera)."  Believe it or not, 'the notion that "beetles are the dominant form of life on earth" is supported in a sense by the amazing fact that one out of five species of all living things, described and catalogued to date, is a beetle.'  Developed at Cornell University, Beetle Science is the site to find out everything about bugs and beetles and more besides.  Start at the 'Species-Scape' illustration to learn more about the various life-forms on earth, click on the 'Virtual Beetle' for your own in-depth examination of this dominant life form and last but not least, take a virtual tour of a couple of the Cornell entomologists' labs.  You just might find a second home!

I couldn't decide whether to go to Salt Lake City or Denver for vacation, so I called the airlines to get prices. "Airfare to Denver is $300," the cheery salesperson replied. "And what about Salt Lake City?" "We have a really great rate to Salt Lake -- $99," she said. "But there is a stopover." "Where?" "In Denver," she said.
