The twin-engine, Cessna 310 aircraft crashed about four miles from the Leesburg, Va., airport and was destroyed, said FAA spokesman Jim Peters. The cause of the crash of the plane, which was registered to F. Richard �Dick� Meyer, 84, of Bonita Bay and River Forest, Ill., remains under investigation. MORE FLIGHTS MAKE WAY FOR MORE HOLIDAY TRAVELERS Many more people are expected to be traveling in and out of Southwest Florida this Thanksgiving holiday weekend than at this time last year, but several factors are helping to move traffic along. Travelers this week will have more flights and parking spaces at airports. Also, lane closures at most major roads that are under construction are not anticipated. HOTELIERS PREPARING FOR STRONG HOLIDAY SEASON For some area hoteliers, this Thanksgiving holiday will be the best they�ve ever had. Many hotels expect to be full through Sunday. And rates are running higher than last year because demand has been so strong. �We are very busy at both hotels,� said Suzanne Willis, a spokeswoman for The Ritz-Carlton Resorts of Naples.
