2003 Sunnyside grad is killed in Iraq 
Another Tucson family is grieving a son killed in Iraq. Nineteen-year-old 
Marine Lance Cpl. Joshua Lucero became the city's latest war casualty on 
Saturday. Lucero, a 2003 graduate of Sunnyside High School, was killed by enemy 
activity in Al Anbar province, the U.S. Department of Defense said yesterday.

UA Sports: Stepping all over UTEP 
The Wildcats - No. 25 in last week's poll - scored 38 of the first 45 points 
and breezed to 79-47 victory over the Miners before 1,910 at McKale Center on 
the night the UA was presented with its Pac-10 championship rings after

'Mad' victim got bullet in head 
As he puts it, Jonathan Eckels was just driving back to his job at a car 
dealership last March 12, minding his own business, when three men in a Jeep 
drove up alongside him and fired several shots into his pickup truck. At first, 
he didn't notice that he was hit. A bullet struck him in the head, lodging 
between his skull and his scalp. What he did notice was the gunman laughing. 
Then the chase was on.

Free credit reports popular 
Tucson and Southern Arizona consumers say it's about time they got a free peek 
at what lenders are saying about them. Beginning Wednesday, residents of 13 
Western states, including Arizona, can receive free copies of their credit 
reports once a year.

U.S. seeks to allay Andean concerns 
The U.S.-Andean Free Trade Agreement negotiations may be nearing an end, but 
the debates surrounding it are only just beginning. The sixth of seven rounds 
of negotiations start today in Tucson as more than 500 business and government 
officials from the United States, Ecuador, Peru and Colombia gather for a 
weeklong series of meetings to hash out the details of the controversial 
agreement.
