Client requirement: MQ Series Administrator
Location: North Jersey, NJ
Duration: 12 Months

The MQ Series Administrator Specific responsibilities include installation & maintenance of the MQSeries software; configuration support, problem diagnosis & resolution for MQSeries in an Sun Solaris / Mainframe environment. This position
also provides customers and other support areas with MQSeries-related assistance and support documentation.
Required Skills:
Clear understanding of MQ and communications channels.
Must have experience with MQ in Solaris environments.
Administrator and Troubleshoot MQ issues.
Install and configure MQ Series on Sun Solaris and OS 390 (Mainframe) platforms
Consulting on the use of MQ Series for Cobol/CICS is plus
Support changes to MQ Series Queue managers in a clustered environment
Well-developed analytical and technical problem-solving skills.
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a professional manner with customers, peers and other support staff members.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
