Bill ....... I went to a little race in Georgia <Grin> called Spring Fever. It was my second race after coming back to Cat Sailing after a 15 year hiatus. Judy and I knew no one at all, but by chance at the Evening Dinner at Nigels Shop we met up with a delightful couple. Bill kept referring to "THE LIST" and I had no idea what he was talking about, but before the weekend was over, he had explained it to me. So, that's how I came to the list. I lurked a while, posting a bit, met Dave Atwater and a bunch of his sailing pals in San Felipe at the Midwinters West, met a bunch more of the list members at Spring Fever the following year, included but not limited to John S, Cary, Toby, Rich, and Jake. I am sure I have met other list members in Texas and Louisiana and just didn't know it. I feel as tho I have friends from coast to coast because of this list, and wherever I go, if I only put it out on the list first, I will be sure to meet new friends. Anyway, thanks to Damon for all that he does to keep this list a pleasant and informative place to spend time. Stephen H-18 (still nameless)
