Hi Michelle! I called my Family Practice last week because of certain symptoms I was having-primarily urinating 20 times in one day (which is always my very first sign of pregnancy) I had taken a pregnancy test the night before and got negative results. Nurse called me back and told me the doctor wanted me to come in to urgent care that evening because he wanted to test for diabetes. That was negative, but there were white blood cells in my urine signaling infection somewhere. He put me on antibiotics but said the symptoms sound much like pregnacy. I told him of the negative test and he said with the RX I should feel better by Thursday, but if not, he wanted me to test for pregnancy again on Friday. I tested on Sunday and thought the test didn't work because it was all dark. I tested again and if I squinted and stared I could see a very very faint line. I tested a third time and received the same result. I looked at all 3 tests and there was a super faint line in the same place on all of them. No question about it! I was surprised because I really didn't think I was. LOL! I am still nursing my youngest who had her first birthday today!! I have a 3 year old, and a 2 year old: Havana 3, Haddon 2, & Helene 1. WOW!! Helene was born in the car a year ago today, so we'll see how #4 goes. Haha! I went to the Birth Center yesterday and she said my uterus felt like 5-6 weeks. They are scheduling an ultrasound for me and I'm just waiting for the call to tell me when it is. I haven't had cycles since I am breastfeeding, but I did bleed Oct 19-21 and that was it. So, I really don't know when I am due, but I am thinking mid-late August. The u/s will detrmine that.Anyway, I am a stay-at-home mom. My husband works full-time and goes to school full-time. We are currently trying to buy a house our good friend is building for us. It should be ready mid-August and I am SO excited! I just became a Doula and have attended 3 births in the past month and a half. I have another lady due Jan. 8th and another in April.
