Yes, but in normal servo use you would almost never see that amount of power. Torque is far more important than peak power. Those motors sound a bit under powered for your plasma cutter. However as you have them it may be worth quickly bodging up a drive system and trying one out, even if you just run it off of a couple of 12V batteries.
