O.K., I to will be traveling down to the Charleston,SC area (Kiawah Island)in March of next year to visit the in-laws. I figure, best thing I can do is take the trailer, stay at a campground near Kiawah Island(gives me some time away from the outlaws). I did a quick "Mapquest" from James Island County Park to Kiawah Island. Mapquest say it's 25.07 miles, but takes 1 hour 15 minutes to drive from one to the other. Is the speed limit in that area 22mph? I understand, I may not be able to run 65mph from one to the other, but 1 hour and 15 minutes to run 25.07 miles?? Does anyone know that area well enough to explain why so long?
