Hello Uma,

Yes it is possible for a function to have variable number of arguments. You should go through the documentation for valist and vaargs. Hope this helps

Subject: (PT) printf(), scanf() - How do they accept any no. of arg?

Hi all,

How is it, that, we are able to call printf() and scanf() functions, with any number of arguments?

Then, is it possible to define a user-defined function which can accept different number of arguments, like that of printf() and scanf()?

With thanks,
Uma
