HI Kelly!
You're already a mother of three...WOW! You must be
a very busy woman! I bet you can't wait to move and decorate your new
house! Our house has three bedrooms. We wanted to buy a four-bedroom
but they were too expensive. When we moved into our new house we didn't
have any children. We moved in July 1st, 2002 and on July 2nd, I learned I
was pg with our first! Back then, the house seemed huge! Now, with a
second one on its way, I'm starting to run out of space to put our
things!
Let me tell you a bit more about myself. I
teach English as second language at a private catholic school for girls (my
first language is French). Here, women who teach and who have never been
exposed to the 5th disease http://kidshealth.org/parent/infections/bacterial_viral/fifth.html,
stop working the day they know they're pregnant. So, you basically get
paid to stay home during your nine months of pregnancy and after, here in
Canada, we get one year of paid maternity leave. So, I won't be going back
to work until the end of August 2006!
I've been married for five years now but we've been
together for 11 years. My DH's name is Eric. Our son's name is
Anthony.
You mentioned that your first ultrasound is January
4th...lucky you! That's early.
And you're a doula! WOW again! Do you
assist home births, hospital births or both? That is something that also
interests me very much. I had a hospital birth with my first (had an
epidural) so I don't know if I'd be much help assisting a woman who'd be
pleading for drugs!
