Hi...
Oh you asked a LOADED question. LOL I am NEVER
ready for the cold weather of winter. We are still
waiting for our house to get completed... and as we
will have to rent for now... DH is calling them and
telling them that we HAVE to be moved in by the 31st
of January. The situation with my fil and his female
is getting very nasty very fast.... we had a happy
home until she came along! So enough of that. If
that house can't be redone... then the hunt starts all
over again! And I thought it was almost over! LOL
My older children are going to be scattered to
the four winds for the holidays. DD 18 will be
returning from Cancun on the 22 but will be 2.5 hours
north of me for Christmas Eve... and you know IN
weather.... when you least expect it... BAMM! DD16
had a ovarian cyst ruture last Friday. She is doing
better now... no more pain... returning to DR today...
with out further pain we hope that there will be no
surgery. DSS14 is doing HORRIBLE is school... 4 Fs at
the mid point of the 9weeks. So he will stay there
and have to do extra studies over his vacation. DS13
is wanting to stay at his father's (UGG)... and DH has
to work 12 hour days on both Christmas Eve and
Christmas day. <SIGH> So the DD3 and DS1 and I will
either have a quiet day alone or go the a friend's
house an hour away. What a year! So we will prob. do
gift opening and dinner on the 23rd... what an odd
group we are! LOL
The kids are itchin to play in the snow... but so
far mother nature isn't helping their cause... LOL We
are think about letting the kids skip the last two
days of class (the ones with good grade) so we can go
horse riding on the 22 and do our together Christmas
on the 23rd. I will have to let you know how that
works out. LOL
But as crazy as Christmas is this year... we still
are doing the Christmas story nightly now...plan to
have our annual Baby Jesus birthday party ( just me
and the younger 2 this year) we're singing Christmas
songs and Christmas music is always on the stereo
system. We just did a small (on the table) tree this
year as DS 1 was trying to pull over the real tree
that we brought home. So we resold it to my
sister...LOL and put one up he could look at and not
pull over on himself...LOL. Cookies are being baked
daily... some are interesting looking as the DD3 is
helping a lot this year... <SMILE>
Well, I told you that was a loaded question... LOL
I hope everyone is having a Safe and Happy Holiday
season. And that Everyone finds Peace for the
upcoming year.
