It is interesting. Just because porn has been so successful on
every other form of media known to man does not lead me to believe
that it will ever really take off on mobile devices. I mean seriously,
can you imagine the guy next to you browsing through 'Donkeys, Dames
and Darts' as he heads to work on the bus? It just seems a little too
unlikely to me personally.... [Continued]

Portable Media Players, or PMP's are a hot mobile item right now.
Conceptually, I like them but all reviews I've read indicate that it's
a bit of a hassle to get content from your PC to your PMP. What if a
company built a PMP device that didn't require a PC? What if they took
the concept a step further and added a low-power OLED screen? Turns
out this type of product exists in the... [Continued]

When you talk 'mobile', it doesn't get any more mobile than a
Windows XP handheld that fits in your pocket. Starting at $1899, the
OQO fits the bill but is it worth it? Tom's Hardware puts the mighty
mite through the paces with oodles of facts and screenshots. [Continued]

CNET reports that Walmart and Linspire have teamed up to offer a
$498 laptop computer running the Linspire operating system. Dubbed the
Balance, the laptop runs on the VIA C3 1-GHz processor, has 128MB RAM,
a 30GB hard drive, a CD-ROM drive and a 14.1-inch liquid crystal
display. It appears Walmart is offering an open source office package,
probably openoffice. Delivery for purchases made now should be made on
around December 29 according to the... [Continued]

Guess the old jokes of getting a toaster for opening a checking
account are going be ancient history with this offer from Citibank.
That's right, open a checking account for first time customers with
Citibank and they'll give you an iPod mini to take home! Well, kind
of. They actually mail you the iPod mini 90 days after your first two
bill pays (see the strings attached below). But you only have a couple
weeks... [Continued]

Windows Media Player 10 Mobile (Misc)

From what I am reading, it looks like there have been some pretty
fair improvements made to the mobile Windows Media Player. It still
maintains the features that you come to expect from it, but has a few
other added surprises as well. Besides the inclusion of improved
features, this media player has not forgotten about the fun of having
access to cool visuals when listening to music. If this does not turn
your crank,... [Continued]

I think that this really puts the 'value added' in value added
service. Just finished reading how China's Linktone Ltd. has started
offering novels over mobile media. While it may not be a new practices
by any means, it is not something that you see over there on the other
side of the world though. Now I have to ask, who really is going to
use this? Will this be as big of a hit... [Continued]
