WFAA.COM USER REVIEWS

National Treasure is like an old "serial" that used to be shown at the theaters when I was a kid. You can't ask too many questions "How did they do tha?" questions, or you will ruin the fragile plot. The plot isn't suppose to be intellectual, or profound, if it was it would ruin this 50's style adventure movie. This is a cousin to Indiana Jones with out Harrison Ford but equally fun and entertaining. Is this a great movie? Hardly! Is this a fun "popcorn" movie with lots of laughs? You bet! It is just a nice trip back to those Saturday mornings when I went down to the Fox Theatre in Phoenix, Ariz., to watch cartoons, an episode of the latest serial and a bad movie. I had so much fun then, and I had a lot of fun with this movie. On my day off, it was just nice to escape for a while and sit back and enjoy some fun.
