acquired the film rights to Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell, Ubi's popular
stealth action series, and that they have hired Peter Berg along with
Splinter Cell game writer JT Petty. Variety says Berg is writing the
script along with Splinter Cell game writer J.T. Petty and John J.
McLaughlin (Man of the House). Paramount said the movie is aimed at

Valve announced on Wednesday that 30,000 Steam accounts were
banned from the service after discovering that the users tried to
illegally gain access to Valve titles using various fraudulent
methods. So far, over 50,000 accounts have been disabled from the

Tri Synergy has released a one level demo of its 3D real-time
strategy game Will of Steel. The 190MB demo will require a pretty
decent machine to run as the minimal requirements for the game are
pretty demanding for an RTS (1.3GHz processor with 256MB of RAM and a
64MB video card that fully supports DirectX 9.0b, the publisher
