Hi..rahul,
Thank you very much for your reply.  I am actually from technical background and I am doing my Masters in Computer Eng. I will try to find a good trainer. Mean while I want to atleast get the basics.  I did small projects in Oracle, VB, C, C++.,SQL and PLSQL...etc.  Now I am finding ABAP is somewhat easy..if I have good material.
What is SAP library? where can I get that?  First few weeks I want to concentrate on ABAP and SAP..ofterwords I want to learn about..cross platform applications.
Thank u very much for advising.  Please keep giving me advices..
Thank u once again,
Regards,
Bharath

hi Bharath,

If you have a commerce background or a MBA degree, then i suggest that you go to functional modules in SAP. If you have Technical programming knowledge then go to ABAP or BASIC.

Learning SAP by yourself is not easy, you need a trainer who knows SAP well. i suggest that you get on with some trainer.

Try to get SAP library, because it has everything to teach.

Cross application  is very important ie: Ale,Bapi etc.

if you want further assistance then please let me know.
