Hi again Terry,

I have it working using F1, I want to call it from the dropdown menu I built
using the Menu editor, same as if calling it from a button... How do I make
the call from there?

Thanks,
Dave

Once you use the package and deployment wizard to create a setup the .chm
will be included(make sure the .chm file is in list of files to be included
in the package before you create the package) the and the user will be able
to access the help file with F1.

Hi Terry,

Thank you that worked, can you suggest how I launch it from within the
running application? Shell to it?

Thanks,
Dave

You need to set the path to the .chm in the project properties on the
general tab. This should let the user bring up the help file by pressing F1.

Hi,

I have a working help fils, (.chm), and a working vb6 application,
can someone point at resource that will tell me how to launch it from
within teh application from a pull down menu? Shell does not seem to
work for this for some reason... Is shell the way to go on this and
am I missing something?
