Hi manuel,
Have u developed it in swing or it is a command line program If every client of urs have jre in their computers then u can show up a offline web page for them If they do not have jre, then u can go for converting it to a exe file Try "j2exe ". Just google down and u will find some libraries to convert jar to exe It might not be possible for command line programs Well do u know j2ee or compliant app servers Thanks Pradyut <http://pradyut.tk/> http://pradyut.tk <http://groups.yahoo.com/group/d_dom/> http://groups.yahoo.com/group/d_dom/ <http://pradyut.50megs.com/> http://pradyut.50megs.com India _____ From: Manuel Tejada [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Sunday, December 26, 2004 1:24 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: [Java] SQL Server 2000 Connection Thanks Pradyut, The package was dowloaded from micro$oft, but apparently is not working. I would like to connect directly to the server that way I don't need to create the ODBC an each computer. Now let me ask you one more question. How do you distribute a Java app? I know that if one does a J2EE application and put it on the server, it will be available to the users. But what I have is a very small java app that would like to give it to several users.
